According to officials from the Nanjing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban Rural Development, in order to ensure safety, the parking lot under the elevated bridge will only be open to small vehicles and it is strictly prohibited for large vehicles to park. The Municipal Transportation Bureau is using the interlayer of the tunnel to construct parking facilities in the construction of the Weisan Road cross river passage.
